News on racism for minority group in big metropolitan cities are not news anymore. I am here from past 5 and half years, obviously I can't  stay at home whole days, somehow have to walk out from home for office, personal works, for class and more. The first instance I have been experiencing is in public transport. We, north east people always treat as foreigners. People used to call like different name like bahadur, napali and vice versa.  I had been to Idea care centre in Mahipalpur to get new card as my sim card was not working.  One of the girl sitting over there was asking'' Would you please give your passport and two photograph". I replied, why I need to submit copy of passport, i just summit copy of DL to her. She refuse it, she continue asking and said: Where is Manipur, Is it part of India or not? I smile to her and ask her to know at least how many states in India. Ironically, most people living around Delhi and NCR even do not about their own countrymen, what we can expect from these people for foreign tourist. Very recently, India celebrated its 61st Republic day on 26th January 2012, citizen till now not understand the real meaning of republic country. Large country like India is living in diversity, we should aware and respect of others religion, tradition, culture ...Its high time to initiate a social awarness campagin to educate this, '' We all are living in multi-culture country and we all are one''
